A Mingo County man was arrested after troopers were called to a medical center over the weekend to investigate a shooting incident. 68-year old Keith McCoy of Delbarton has been charged with malicious wounding and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police.
McCoy is accused of shooting 33-year-old Keith Allen Kinser, also of Delbarton Sunday along Daystar Road. Troopers said Kinser remains in stable condition at Logan Regional Medical Center. Eyewitness News said McCoy was arraigned and released on bond amid an active investigation.
