The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office has named Corporal Treavor Dubiel its 2025 Deputy of the Year.
The honor was presented Thursday during a Kanawha County Commission meeting. According to the sheriff’s office, Dubiel served 112 warrants in 2025 and ranked among the department’s leaders in arrests, reports and calls for service. He also serves as a field training officer, mentoring new deputies.
Dubiel, who has nine years in law enforcement, said joining the list of past honorees is a true honor and a legacy he’s proud to be part of.
Two new deputies, Jaden Booker and Drew Cabell, were also sworn in during the meeting.
