Airport improvements are coming to Bridgeport

The new terminal project at North Central West Virginia Airport in Bridgeport is nearing completion after Gov. Patrick Morrisey announced nearly $2 million in funding to finish a key taxiway. The project, now about 98% complete, will connect the new terminal to the main runway, allowing for expanded commercial service and potential new airlines. Officials say the taxiway’s total cost is around $5 million, and the final funding will help bring it across the finish line. The new terminal is expected to open by April.
