The Cabell County Board of Education has named a new superintendent. Keith Thomas, previously principal at Culloden and Central City Elementary, will take over on July 1. He also served as the district’s director of Health, Wellness, and Student Support. The board launched the search after current Superintendent Tim Hardesty announced his retirement, and earlier this month, they received six letters of interest from internal candidates.
