A man wanted on multiple charges, including allegations he exploited an elderly couple, has been arrested in Kanawha County.
Preston Hugle was taken into custody Monday and arraigned in magistrate court. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said he had been featured in its March 4 “Wanted Wednesday” post and was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear on several charges.
Hugle is also accused of stealing a credit card and defrauding more than $48,000 from an elderly couple.
Surveillance video from businesses where the card was used helped investigators identify Hugle as the suspect.
