Hope Coliseum to be a host site for the first round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament

West Virginia University will host first- and second-round games of the 2026 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Hope Coliseum is one of 16 host sites.

WVU secured its own tournament berth by winning the Big 12 Conference Tournament on March 8, its first conference tournament title since 2017.

The Mountaineers are 27-6 this season.

First-round games are scheduled for March 20-21, with second-round matchups set for March 22-23. No. 4 WVU will host No. 13 Miami (Ohio) in the first round.
