The suspect who was taken into custody early Friday in a murder investigation has been identified, court records said.
Mickey Case Carter, 26, of Grantsville was charged with first-degree murder, according to a release from West Virginia State Police.
According to a criminal complaint filed to Calhoun County Magistrate Court, troopers responded to a residence in the 25000 block of South Calhoun Highway in Chloe just after 2:30 a.m. Friday.
