A Harrison County woman is facing multiple charges after deputies say dozens of animals were found neglected in her home, including several that had died.
Bobbie Dillow has been charged with 19 counts of animal cruelty following a March 6 investigation by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department.
According to a criminal complaint, deputies assisting animal control officers found several dead animals and a total of 19 animals were discovered without food or water.
Authorities say six of the animals died from starvation and dehydration. The surviving animals were removed from the home and taken into custody by animal control.
Deputies say Dillow told them she was unable to care for the animals because of health issues.
She is being held at North Central Regional Jail on $19,000 bond.
