Testing is Increased at Prisons

COVID-19 testing is being increased at the Huttonsville Correctional Center after the first inmate in West Virginia’s jail and prison system tested positive for the virus. The 62-year-old man, who was confirmed positive is in good condition in medical isolation. The case is believed unrelated to that of a temporary, part-time employee at the facility who tested positive over the weekend. That employee, who is quarantined at home and in good condition.
