Coronavirus Test Result Rate Remains Below 2 Percent

West Virginia’s positive coronavirus total increased by 15 cases Thursday, but the state’s percentage of positive cases among those tested dropped below 2%. The state Department of Health and Human Resources said more than 106,000 tests have been conducted, and the positive test result rate was at 1.97%. Nearly 1,400 have recovered from the virus, and there are 615 active cases. A 62-year old Roane County man died from the virus, bringing the state’s death toll to 79.
