The Waves of Fun wave pool is closed for the summer in Putnam County, but the summer won’t be a total loss for Putnam County Parks. Baseball fields are open for practices again, and Putnam County has opened bookings for the conference center for large events at half capacity. They’re also planning movies and food trucks at Picnic in the Park events and the first one will be Friday, June 19 at Valley Park. And on Saturday, June 27 at Valley Park they’ll host a Princess drive through where different movie princesses will act out scenes as cars drive through.
