The West Virginia Supreme Court heard arguments about whether Governor Justice should live in the state capital. Delegate Isaac Sponaugle filed a lawsuit challenging the governor’s residency requirement, that the constitution requires him to reside at the seat of government. Justice lives in Lewisburg. His lawyers appealed to the state Supreme Court after a lower panel declined to throw out the case.
