The town of Glasgow, which has had trouble finding officers to work for its police department, has entered into a contract with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office to provide law enforcement coverage. Under the contract, a deputy will be stationed in town during certain hours each day. The agreement takes effect Nov. 1, and will be flexible moving forward.
