The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources said buck firearms season begins Monday, Nov. 23 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 6. All but four counties – Logan, McDowell, Mingo and Wyoming – are open to the buck firearms season. Hunters can harvest one buck on their base license, but can purchase a special stamp by Nov. 22 to allow a second one.
