Kroger Workers Vote to Ratify a New Contract

A union representing Kroger workers voted “overwhelmingly” on Saturday to ratify a new contract. The new deal guarantees fully-funded health care benefits, raises for everyone and caps on prescription drug costs among other things, according to a news release from UFCW Local 400. The contract will last for three-and-a-half years. The agreement covers more than 4,200 workers in West Virginia and surrounding areas.
