Governor Jim Justice announced Monday morning that the WEst Virginia National Guard’s Maj. Gen. James Hoyer will transition as part of the governor’s new administration. General Hoyer will serve as a Senior Associate Vice President at West Virginia University. Hoyer will be leader of the Joint Task Force on Vaccination and a key member of the COVID-19 advisory team too. General Hoyer has been the Adjutant General of the West Virginia National Guard for the past ten years.
