Kanawha County Schools will extend the deadline for parents to choose which type of instruction their kids will have for the spring semester. The deadline was supposed to be last Friday, Nov. 20, but parents were notified yesterday that they would have some extra time. The three options are in-person learning, e-learning with a teacher through the Schoology program, and the last option is completely virtual, at the student’s own pace. The semester begins Jan. 19 and ends Friday, May, 28, 2021. Kanawha County Schools is asking everyone to respond even if the student is staying in the same program as the fall.
