The House Finance Committee is considering a re-do of Governor Justice’s tax plan. House Finance Chairman Eric Householder is proposing a substitute bill in committee. He will have a meeting with Governor Justice next week to propose the idea. Justice is calling for a sixty-percent cut in the state personal income tax, and eliminating the tax entirely in three years. Householder is proposing a more moderate approach.
