Larger Planes Are Flying Out of Yeager Airport

Delta Air Lines has started flying larger aircraft at Yeager Airport. Delta had been flying smaller CRJ-200s with 50 seats, but it is now flying larger Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft with 76 seats. Nick Keller, director and chief executive officer of Yeager, said supporting existing service is the best way to show the airlines that Charleston will support new flights. Airport officials said American Airlines will also use larger aircraft from time to time.
