Charleston police have arrested a woman they said was an accessory after the fact in the murder of a Charleston man last week. Ariel Waldorf of Sissonville is charged with one count of accessory after the fact in the murder of Charles “CJ” Thaxton. Beau Hodge of Clendenin has already been charged with first-degree murder for Thaxton’s death. The shooting happened last Thursday in the 1300 block of Stuart Street. Police said Thaxton was found lying in the alley between Stuart and Frame streets with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police there was a dispute over methamphetamine. Waldorf’s bond was set at $5,000 cash after her arrest on Monday.
