Camden Park is Open for the Season

Thrill-seekers in the Tri-State celebrated the reopening of Camden Park last weekend. The family-owned amusement park marked the beginning of its 118th season with no signs of slowing down. WCHS TV reported that good weather helped the park start the season off on a positive note. Camden Park is planning additional hours for Memorial Day weekend before expanding to additional days and hours in June. Those in attendance are encouraged but not required to wear face masks. Camden Park is the only amusement park in West Virginia. It features more 20 attractions, including the main attraction Big Dipper, a wooden rollercoaster built more than 60 years ago.
