The Governor’s Highway Safety Program is sending the reminder that the time period between Memorial Day and Labor Day is considered to be the 100 Deadliest Days of Summer on the roads, with accidents typically increasing. With COVID restrictions relaxing and vacations beginning, more drivers are expected on the roads so they’re sending the reminder to buckle up, drive sober, look for pedestrians and cyclists and follow the posted speed limits.
