A man died after he was hit by a train early Monday morning in Mason County. The Mason County Sheriff’s Office said it happened at the Benwood Lane railroad crossing near Route 2 around 4:15 a.m. in Glenwood. Deputies say the man was lying on the track between the rails when the train came down the track. The investigation is ongoing.
