Two South Charleston men were arrested last week in connection with a theft investigation at a Boone County mine. 24-year old Austin Adkins and 41-year old James Griffith are accused of stealing a large amount of mine property from the Hobet site, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. The two men have been charged with grand larceny and conspiring to commit a felony. Deputies said they arrested the suspects in the Julian area following a lengthy investigation.
