Woman Who Died in Stonewall Jackson Lake Boating Accident is Identified

West Virginia Division of Natural Resources Police officials said the woman who died in a boating accident Sunday in Lewis County was Sarah Hutchinson of New Albany, Indiana. Hutchinson was a student at Alderson Broaddus. Two women were injured in the incident and were in serious, but stable condition as of Monday. DNR police said a 50-year-old man from Harrison County was operating the boat at Stonewall Jackson Lake near the Vandalia boat ramp. The three women were being pulled in a tube when the driver swung the tube too close to a rock wall and the tube collided. Another man, who is from Missouri, was inside the boat at the time.
