Joshua Phillips, the man accused of murdering Charleston police officer Cassie Johnson, won’t go to trial until later this year. A witness from the Medical Examiner’s Office won’t be available to testify for at least ninety-days. Phillips’ trial was originally set for August, but is being pushed back to November.
