Lyme disease is on the rise in West Virginia. The Monongalia County Health Department is reporting more than 200 cases so far this year. Doctors are reporting up to four new cases every day. A tick left unnoticed for 24-48 hours could lead to symptoms like a bullseye rash, fatigue and joint pain, which could lead to Lyme disease.
