An officer involved shooting during a traffic stop on the west side. One of the passengers in the car took off on foot and fired at an officer. The officer returned fire, hitting the suspect several times. He is in critical condition at CAMC. The driver took off and led police on a chase that ended when he crashed into a home on Valley Drive. The driver is okay, and no one inside was hurt.
