Barboursville police said they are investigating after a resident’s security camera captured surveillance video of a masked man taking a package off a porch. The homeowner reported that the theft happened about 1:30 p.m. on July 27th on Peyton Street. Video shows a man snatch the package from the porch, run to a waiting vehicle and jump into the back seat. The vehicle then speeds away. The resident told Eyewitness News that the thief got away with some kitchen utensils.
