The latest Census figures are out and Kanawha County’s population dropped by more than 12-thousand over the past ten years. West Virginia saw the largest population decline in the country. The state has lost more than 60-thousand people in the past ten years. West Virginia is one of seven states that will lose a congressional seat after the 2020 census.
