Six testing events have been scheduled for West Virginia State Police’s upcoming cadet class. The testing locations are spread throughout the state at regional headquarters during the month of September starting with Beckley Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 9 am. (105 Pinecrest Drive, Beckley). Testing is also set for Institute Thursday, Sept. 9, Morgantown Friday, Sept. 10, Charles Town Saturday, Sept. 11, Institute Sunday, Sept. 12, and Elkins: Friday, Sept. 17. Applications can be found on the West Virginia State Police website. Applicant must be at least 21 years old and no more than 39 years old prior to enlistment, and possess a high school diploma or GED.
