A connector road between Jefferson Road and Trace Fork Shopping Center in Kanawha County has been put up for bid by the West Virginia Division of Highways. The project will be funded by the Roads to Prosperity highway construction and maintenance program, and it will be about a half-mile connector road between RHL Boulevard near the South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena and Jefferson Road. The connector road is being built in conjunction with an ongoing widening project on Jefferson Road. A contract will be awarded soon.
