Citynet will receive more than $50 million to expand broadband

Citynet will receive over fifty-million-dollars over the next ten-years to expand broadband access in West Virginia. The money comes from the first round of the Federal Communications Commission Rural Digital Opportunity Fund. Senator Joe Manchin says he pleased with the funding, but more work still needs to be done. He says the FCC is overestimating broadband coverage in West Virginia.
