Three Maryland counties want to become part of WV

Three Maryland counties say they want to become part of West Virginia, and Governor Justice is in favor of the idea. Garrett, Allegany, and Washington counties are the three most western counties in Maryland, and border West Virginia. Governor Justice says he will get to work on drafting the necessary paperwork to make it a reality. Maryland’s governor says, “it’s not going to happen.” Governor Hogan says he understands the frustration of people in the region who feel neglected. He calls it a political stunt to get attention.
