Brad Smith has been named President of Marshall University. Smith served for eleven years as the CEO of financial software maker Intuit. As president of Marshall University he’ll take over for Jerome Gilbert, who previously announced he would not seek a contract extension. Gilbert will be helping the new president make the transition. Smith will officially start as president on Jan. 1, 2022.
