KCHA Needs Donations After 90 Cats Come to the Shelter

South Charleston humane officers and the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association seized about 90 cats from a home Wednesday morning, and that nearly doubled the cat population at the county shelter. The caretaker of the cats is cooperating with humane officers and the association about relinquishing ownership. Each one of the 90 cats coming into the shelter will immediately receive vaccinations, deworming medication, flea/tick treatment, a microchip and medical intervention if necessary. The shelter is seeking donations of kitty litter, food, towels and blankets, along with monetary donations as they look for adopters and fosters.
