Grant money will help the Delbarton Volunteer Fire Department. FEMA awarded the department almost $100,000 dollars recently and that’s one of the biggest grants ever for the department that lacks funding and relies on grants and donations. The money will go toward potentially life-saving air-packs for firefighters. There is no levy in Mingo County to help fund the volunteer fire department.
