High Schoolers Make a Difference Through Ray of Hope Foundation

Two girls from Huntington High are running their own resale boutique. Giovanna Brunetti is a sophomore at Huntington and WCHS TV reported it all started as a way to help people getting out of jail or rehab and they turned into a program. Brunetti and Brianna Henderson got involved with the Ray of Hope Foundation and their entrepreneurship program. Through the program, they developed their own idea of a boutique in Huntington where the clothes are all donated and affordable – the Ray of Hope Boutique on West 8th Ave. They went from doing pop-up shops at recovery homes and the city mission, where people could shop for free, to now having their own store that is open Friday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is the Ray of Hope Foundation’s first youth-developed business.
