Wayne County Custodian Faces a Pornography Charge

West Virginia State Police said a high school custodian in Wayne County faces a child porn charge. Vernon Parsons of Huntington is charged with distribution and exhibiting of material depicting minors. State Police said a trooper confirmed the man worked at Spring Valley High School. Wayne County Superintendent Todd Alexander released a statement saying the employee has been placed on leave. The criminal complaint said a trooper began investigating after receiving a cyber tip on Dec. 7, 2021.
