Habitat for Humanity Needs Volunteers

Habitat for Humanity of Kanawha and Putnam needs volunteers to help with projects that are in progress now. There are four homes being built on North Hills Drive as the nonprofit aims to keep up with an increasing number of home buyers in its program. There weren’t as many volunteers during the pandemic and now the agency is catching up. They’re accepting volunteers several days per week and staffing construction sites to manage them. Habitat says on its website the volunteers of all skill levels are welcome and every job is important. Regular construction workdays are Tuesday & Wednesday and Friday & Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All Construction Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
