The Kanawha-Charleston Board of Health has created a public health leadership award and the first one will be given to the late Paul Nusbaum, who was a member of the board. The Dr. Rahul Gupta Outstanding Public Leadership Award is named after the former health officer and executive director of the Kanawha-Charleston Board of Health and current director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.
