A new early voting site on the West Side of Charleston got the approval it needed Thursday at the Kanawha County Commission meeting. The early voting site is set to be at the Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council building on Charleston’s West Side. Commissioners consulted with four lawyers, all of whom said the commission is legally allowed to open the early voting site. They’re still waiting to get West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey’s opinion.
