A project billed as the state’s largest solar farm will be developed on property formerly known as the Hobet mining site. Details about the project were announced Monday in Boone County. The multi-phase plan includes industrial and commercial development, an educational experience, tourism and hospitality venues, that organizers say will work together to make the project an epicenter for economic development.
