A recent report has listed West Virginia State University as one of the best Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the nation for 2022. The ranking, published by College Consensus, puts WVSU at No. 4 in the nation based on the combined results of multiple respected ranking systems and real student reviews.
WVSU has the longest continuous accreditation of any public university in West Virginia.
