West Virginia State Parks officials announced that the adventure lakes at Pipestem Resort and Tygart Lake state parks will open on May 20. In addition to swimming and water skiiing, Pipestem Resort has added a miniature golf course and Tygart Lake has added kayaking. The adventure lakes are new additions made possible by a partnership between West Virginia State Parks and ACE Adventure Resort. Both adventure lakes had their inaugural seasons in 2021.
