Animal Shelter Needs Fosters and Adopters

The Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association said it is concerned about overcrowding issues because the shelter is currently housing nearly 500 animals. On Monday, the shelter took in 64 cats. Most of those were kittens under 4 weeks old. They’re looking for people to foster and adopt the animals. Most fosters would need to commit three to four weeks before the kittens are old enough for adoption. For animals old enough for adoption, the humane association is offering $25 adoptions through May 15.
