A West Virginia State Police officer was critically injured at his home Saturday. Trooper R.J. Jennings has been hospitalized after falling off a roof, according to a social media post from the West Virginia Troopers Association. The post said Jennings suffered fractures in both arms and wrists in addition to a broken back. The incident has left Jennings paralyzed from the chest down. Jennings will require multiple surgeries, according to the West Virginia Troopers Association. A GoFundMe page has been organized to help Jennings on his road to recovery.
