Cabell County court records said a man has been charged after a woman said he pulled a pistol and struck her in the head and then fled the area. 29-year old Maleake Deshawn King of Detroit was booked Monday at Western Regional Jail on a charge of wanton endangerment involving a firearm, according to jail records and a criminal complaint. Officers responded July 24 to Marcum Terrace in Huntington for a reported domestic disturbance involving a gun. King is currently being held at Western Regional Jail on a $26,000 surety/cash bond.
