Funeral arrangements have been organized for fallen officers in Floyd County by the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home. Services will be held at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Burial ceremonies will take place at Gethsemane Gardens, also in Prestonsburg. The funeral for William Petry is being held today at 11 am. The funeral for Ralph Frasure will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6. Public visitation for Jacob Chaffins will be held at 6 p.m. tonight at Tom’s Creek Freewill Babtist Church in Ivel, Kentucky and will continue through Wednesday. A funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 7. The Floyd County Community Foundation will be collecting donations for the victims’ families.
