The Mingo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in an investigation after someone shot and killed a pony. A Shetland pony was shot and killed between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on July Fourth, according to a post Tuesday on the sheriff’s office Facebook page. The shooting occurred in the Triad area of the county. Anyone with information on the person or persons responsible is asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
